Welcome to our digital passport! Here we store all our family memories of adventuring and exploring in our own backyard and around the world.
I'm from Wales, UK and Dan is from Long Island, NY. We met 12 years ago on the Disney International College Program. Traveling and starting new adventures is how our relationship began.
December, 2020 we said goodbye to our busy NY lifestyle, left behind our jobs, and headed south to the sunshine state in pursuit of a simpler, and more fulfilled lifestyle through adventure and travel. On this new journey we share with you our adventures throughout Florida, the US and international travel. We are true believers that it's not about the destination, but the experiences along the way. We hope you join us in discovering new sites for your next adventure.

GEMMA
Hi! I'm Gemma. I'm from South Wales, UK. I temporarily left the UK in 2008 to follow my dream and work for the Walt Disney World Company in Orlando, Florida. I had just graduated from the University of Wales in Performing Arts and Film, so having an opportunity to work for the worlds best entertainment company was a dream come true. It also, unknowingly led me to Dan! :-)
Moving to the US for 6 months quickly taught me how much I enjoyed travel, meeting new people, learning new cultures and stepping outside my comfort zone. It was this experience that truly fostered my love for adventure.
The last 10 years of marriage Dan and I have lived in Wales, New York and Florida. We have grown our family with two fur babies, Chance and Summer, and recently just welcomed our little baby boy, Chase.
I love animals, wildlife, cooking, art and being active outdoors. Back in 2010 I started gardening and it's now one of my favourite hobbies.
I'm grateful that I was raised with so much love, affection and kindness; I continue everyday to make sure I replicate the same values and foundations in my own growing family.
DANIEL
Hi, I'm Dan.
Before we started Piastuck Passports and moved to Florida I worked as the Parks Operations Director for NYC Parks and Recreation Department. Prior to that, I went to Stony Brook University and swam division 1. I later opened and ran swim teams and swim programs throughout New York state.
Swimming and athletics was/is something I'm truly passionate about! Athletics or any outdoor recreational activity makes me feel alive. Health and wellness has always been a high priority for me.
My favorite hobbies are traveling, surfing, snowboarding, and I love a donut or two ;-)
I have had many titles over the years; Coach, Captain, Director, Business Owner, and Fur Dad. But this year, I get my most important title of all, Father.
CHANCE
Hey, I'm Chance. A pure Breed Rough Collie originally from South Florida.
My fur-rents picked me up at 8 weeks old; I was covered in flees and thankfully that didn't steer them away. I spent 4 months of my early years in Orlando and later spent 7 years in New York. I loved the cold winters in New York and all the snow. Now, I am back in Florida again but this time North East Florida. Thankfully, we get mild seasons here and I always welcome the temperature between November and February.
One of my favourite hobbies is to sit at the dog park and dog watch. Some of those dogs can really show them selves up.
I love cold climates, snow, all types of food (I have a great pallet) and cozy environments. My favourite day's are when I can be in the woods or on a trail walk. I really love woodland environments. I love to catch a ball and some say if I was human I'd be a great quarterback.
SUMMER
Hey there, summer loving friends! I'm Summer. You can all me Sum if you prefer?!
I am from up state NY. My fur-rents picked me up at 8 weeks old from a wonderful breeder who took great care of me for the first few weeks of my life. I lived in New York for 3 years and now, I live in Florida and I love it!
I love going to the beech on a weekly basis, playing in the sea and chasing the birds. I get to visit our local dog park all the time and I have a few fun friends there; one is a husky called, Luna. She's great! Sometimes, other dog friends can get me into trouble because they jump on me and my sass comes out. But, let's be honest, do you like people jumping on you?
Kindness is all I know and I love being kind to everyone. I love being comfortable, getting dirty, having snuggles and kissing everyone.
